Equipo Singular arranged a nice meeting to introduce us the Pinko new winter collection collection. It was in the shop devoted to the label that Jean Pierre Bua owns in the Diagonal of Barcelona. The italian firm has worked so well that finally has occupied all Jean Pierre Symbol, a space initially designed for a more young and affordable labels than the original Jean Pierre Bua.
Pinko is like an italian Maje. Both, with Sandro, are the main charachters in the space created by mid cost labels, the one between fast fashion and luxury houses. The extra quality that justifies higher prices is translated in a more intrincated fabrics and best finishes. The italian touch brights in the details: golden rivets, studs and sequins gaves fantasy at a wide repertory of garments for day and night.
The coats in its different versions were one of our favs, like the shining Oxfords and an “alaiesque” little black dress, that, what a coincidence, the designer muse Naomi Campbell wears in the Pinko last catalogue. And to establish a dialogue between its 2.0 costumers, a gigant tactile screen invite to explore the Pinko universe for that winter and discover the stylism proposals for the pieces hanging on the store.
