080 Barcelona Jan iú Més x Punto Blanco

by Estel Vilaseca,

I was waiting with expectations that show because it is the first real evidence of the 080 project. Two young designers, Jan iú Més, and an old company like Punto Blanco, together in the catwalk. The experiment has turn out to be a capsule collection called in&out that extend the homewear meaning with comfortable, fresh and warm clothes. And interesting palete as well that added bold blues and yellows to the more obvious colors. The designers offered a smart use of the transparency to show one of the main basis of the brand, the underwear, and a realistic and well done collection of proposals. Being subjective, I was more convinced by the male outfits than the girls one, less fresh in my opinion. And although I love the Gonzalo Cutrina accessories and his last collection Magic, I’m not sure if it was the right choice for the occasion…the same thought for the shoes…but these things can be arguable. It’s more urgent thant when we type www.puntoblanco.com, we feel the fresh air that invade the catwalk.
