Marc has already been comfortably installed in our wardrobes for a long time. He is also the man behind our wallets or sunglasses, and is responsible for our parfum. It should not come as a surprise, since he has Sofia Coppola or Dakota Fanning as his muses.
But one of the few places where Marc had not yet left his marc is our bookshelves. After launching his first bookstore in NYC and the recent opening of two more bookstores in London and Paris, Marc slips into our libraries with Bookmarc.
The selection of books and magazines changes depending on the city. In Paris we can find vintage issues of the magazines Façade ou Egoïste, collectors’ book and exclusive products, such as the book Kate: The Kate Moss Book or a book-clutch by Olympia le Tan that we will only find there.
In short, the concept behind Bookmarc is clear: it is based on the personal tastes and the creative universe of Marc Jacobs, where Warhol rubs shoulders with Ed Rushka or Gainsbourg goes for a drink with Helmut Newton. A total eye candy for our shelves and bedside tables.
